I'm a redhead (couldn't think of anything else to say) from England, who has a deep love for reading, writing, art, and pretty much anything and everything. I am also a lover of fanfiction, to be more specific on the reading and writing front, with some of my favourite fandoms being Criminal Minds, FFVII and Queer as Folk. I am an active supporter of gay rights, and am very passionate about this. I am currently doing A-levels (post-16 education) at Lady Lumley's sixth form college in North Yorkshire. I am also rather fond of anime and manga (cliched, I'm afraid to say) and love the Japanese art style in general, and occasionally I have a go at imitating some of these styles, though not very successfully.
I'm also a fan of the Russian duo 'tATu', and they are mostly to thank for the very few phrases and words of Russian that I know. Very few. That will, in all probability, be of absolutely no help to me if I ever need to converse in Russian. Or if I actually ever visit Russia, as I would like to do.
I'm currently in the process of revamping a few of my old fics (though I haven't removed them from this journal, so read them at your own risk, brave travelers!) because I've looked back at some of them, particularly certain chapters, and just felt like doing a head-desk. So many mistakes that annoy me subtly in the way that a mosquito flying around my head does. I just can't ignore it. So now I am swatting with a metaphorical newspaper at the metaphorical mosquito. And this is probably why my fiction updates have been slow, so if anyone is reading them and likes them, I'm sorry for this delay!
I'll add to this thing as new developments take place!
